"Date Knight" with my sweet boy!

Nate and I don't get many chances to do fun stuff just the two of us, so when I heard our Chick-Fil-a was having a Mother/Son date night, I signed us up!!

It was really cute, they had the restaurant decked out like a castle, and when we walked in they handed every little boy a rose to give to his mom.  Nate picked this pretty pink one for me. :)

 

While we were eating dinner, we had some cool visitors!

He got some little toys and stuff, but I thought the neatest thing was the horse carriage ride around the parking lot!  They let each mom and son group go alone, so we didn't even have to share with anyone! 

 

I know these one-on-one nights are few and far between but I think we'll both remember this one for a long time.  Love my SWEET, tender-hearted little man.

27 Weeks!

So this is what it looks like to be almost 7 months pregnant with one baby!  According to my doctor appointment today, I've already gained 25 pounds so I don't know how much better I'm really doing with one than I did with two!  OH WELL!  We are having fun getting things ready for our new baby.. pics soon to follow of baby's room, and our new third row vehicle! Lots of changing going on!!

Lots of "LAST DAYs"!

Last week was the end of Pre-K, Soccer for Nate and Gymnastics for Lilly.  Welcome to summer!!

 

Nate rocked his last night of soccer.  Boy, has he come a long way in this short 8 weeks.  He learned about playing on a "team" and going after the ball, and not giving up.  I could NOT be prouder of my sweet boy!  Sorry for the blurry phone pics!

 

 Lilly always had fun watching her bro!

 Lilly's last day of gymnastics with her teacher and her class.  I think she enjoyed it, but always talked about how hard it was!  I could only watch from outside, but it always looked like she was trying her hardest and doing great!  Not sure if we're going to do another session of gymnastics, or go ahead and sign her up for more ballet.  She definitely seemed to enjoy the ballet more!

Just for comparison, here is a picture of the kids with me outside their class room on the first day of Pre-K this year, and then the kids with their teacher, Mrs. Camie, on the last day of school last week!  How is it possible the school  year is already over when it seems it just began?!?  I'm so happy we are doing one more year of pre-k, so I have one more year of my babies at home with me!!

 

Fun with Aunt Hilary!

Guess who's behind on posts again?  

Aunt Hilary came to visit a couple of weeks ago (all by herself) and we had so much fun!  The kids loved spending time with her.  She got to see Nate's little soccer class and Lilly's gymnastics class!   Here are a few phone photos from her visit..

THREE birthday parties in ONE day?!

OH MY!  We have entered into our busy summer birthday season!  Last weekend, we had three in one day and managed to make it to all of them!  The kids (and I) were POOPED, but they had a blast, I had fun talking to my friends, and it was totally worth it!

I tried to take as many phone pics as I could-

Stop 1- Chucky Cheese!!!  Believe it or not, this was the kids' FIRST trip there, and they absolutely loved it, so we may have to go back soon!

 Stop 2- Urban Air (ALL TRAMPOLINES- so you can imagine how great these pictures will be!!)

 Last stop was a Mexican Fiesta theme (Cinco de Mayo) at a friend's house and it was the perfect day for an outside party- beautiful weather!  This was the only shot I got, since I was even more tired than they were! 

So we left our house at 9:45AM and didn't get home until 7 in the evening- that is what I call PARTYING!!  So grateful to have friends that want to include us in their special day!!
