Ben's 5 months old, and pictures, and more pictures!!

 Pictures taken on Ben's 5 month birthday, January 16!

 He's come a long way this past month!  He ate his first baby food (pears)! He fussed a lot, but probably just because he wasn't used to using my mouth that way, because he seems to really like pears now.  He is jabbering and laughing a lot and still sleeping VERY LITTLE!  He loves grabbing at things and is super ticklish!

More visitors and Happy New Years (from the play room)!

We had our last round of visitors here to see Benny and help us ring in 2014!  Brian's sister (Aunt Kelly), Uncle Tom and cousin Emily came down to stay with us and the kids got more fun cousin time in! 

Some phone pictures from our visit to the Dallas World Aquarium.  It was really neat, I'm so glad we got the chance to go!  Way more than just an aquarium.   The whole inside was set up like a rain forest.  There were birds, monkeys, a jaguar, flamingos, in addition to the alligators, sharks, fish, turtles and much more!

Yes, Lilly dressed in her Super girl costume for our NYE celebration :).  Nate and Lilly put on a show for us in the play room with our karaoke machine. 

 

 

After the show in the playroom, we ate some yummy snacks and watched Despicable Me 2, and then tuned in to watch the ball drop.

Christmas Day

Look what Santa brought!

 Ben was awake bright and early, of course oblivious to it all..

 I would say it's neat to see the excitement on their faces, but I think confusion would be a better word than excitement.  Never can tell if Santa quite hit the mark or not. 

Ben seemed pretty happy :)
