Pretty Flowers and Little Posers!

After my mom called to tell me she spotted some pretty azalea bushes in her neighborhood, Nate and Lilly were happy to be my muses and stand in front of them for a few minutes while I took some pictures.  I didn't get many GREAT ones, but the colors of the flowers were so pretty and I think they are so cute holding hands.. so here they are!!

Excuses

Ok, so I know I have been discussing our bed time drama a lot lately, but it's kind of the main thing that has been on my mind lately.  Every night we put them both in bed, say night time prayers, give a kiss good night and walk out.  And every night we get called back in 5-10 times to take care of some pending tragedy that just has to be taken care of before they can sleep.  Here is a list of the latest tragedies:

"I want my pink socks on!" (instead of the white ones she had on)
"AIRPLANE, MOMMY!! (this can either be a real airplane flying over our house, or the A/C kicking on)
"I wanna go potty!"
"I want Dear God again!" (want to say prayers again)
"Mommy (or Daddy) kissy night night!!"
"I want my book!" (there are so many things in the bed with them, there is hardly room for their own bodies.)
"I want candy!!" (this one usually goes with "I wanna go potty" because we are awarding with candy when they go on the potty)

BUSTED.

Tonight we were all in the car, looking for a parking spot at a crowded restaurant, when were reminded to be careful what we say by our little copy-cats.  It went like this..

Brian (under his breath): "Damn!"
Nate: "Damn!"
Me (whispered to Brian): "Watch it!"
Lilly: "Watch it!!"

HAHAHAHA.. UH-OH..

Bath Time!

Is one of the only times the kids are not screaming and/or fussing these days, so it happens to also be one of my favorite things about our evenings!  I had my camera out, so decided to take a few pictures.  Nothing cuter than a baby wrapped in a warm towel after a bath!!  Can't you just smell the baby lotion??

These are just some random pictures from the last week.  There isn't much new to report.  Lilly doesn't sleep.. EVER.  Have I reported that?  I can't remember because I'm so tired.. because my daughter doesn't sleep.. EVER!! ALso, she is getting over strep throat, but that was after these pictures were taken.  More on that later!

Yep, Lilly put her baby to bed in a dump truck.. and covered her up with her jacket.

Then she decided she needed to put her in the dog house.  ICK.

I just thought this was a cute bath picture.  Lilly lined these up and said "alligators kissy!"

I put these on Facebook and didn't want to forget to post them on the blog.  We have been having tons of fun hanging out oustide in the evenings with all of the beautiful weather. 

Look at these faces.. My babies are growing up.  Sometimes I hardly recognize them, they are changing so quickly.  So I tell myself if I take a pictures of them every day, maybe just maybe, a piece of them willbe frozen in time and when I look at the pictures later, I can have that time back if only for a moment..
