Wow, we sure have accomplished a lot this month! As of the day before he turned 9 months old, we have a crawler! He's been getting on all fours acting like he's going to crawl, but then just sitting back up, and also crawling backwards, for probably a month now! We finally got him to crawl by putting his silky out in front of him. He loves that thing, just like his big brother! He's still kind of crawling on one knee and pushing with the other foot, but he gets around pretty fast! We have to put road blocks/traps in the living room to keep him from getting into things he shouldn't. Starting to try and pull up too! At his 9 month well check he was a whopping 24.2 pounds and 29 inches, which put him in the 75th percentile for height and 90th percentile for weight. I love his chunky rolls!! He's getting super strong, pushing things (and people's faces) out of the way. He loves tugging on jewelry, sunglasses, hats, your drink, your food, or anything he can (but shouldn't) get his hands on! I have stopped wearing jewelry all together, for the time being. His favorite baby foods are sweet potatoes and squash and he loves puffs and the little baby finger foods. Just now starting to try table food like bits of bread and noodles. So far, not much he doesn't like (can't you tell?) Nate and Lilly are still all over him constantly, but they may change now that he's moving around better and can ESCAPE! He loves attention from them though, and LOVES laughing with them, especially goofy big bro Nate. Lots of posts coming about summer fun, but for now-- here are our big boy NINE MONTH pictures!
