Playing at the Park!

YAY for no more freezing temps and lots of
AWESOME PLAY OUTSIDE WEATHER!!!

On our way to the park..
Look who got new equipment at their community park..

She figured out how to make herself swing!  It was HI-larious.

Lilly loves bouncing on the frog!
This girl gave Lilly a run for her money and Lilly loved it!

We have seen this girl out at the park before.  She is 3 and apparently she is Lilly's new BFF.  What a cutie.

A Saturday in Canton!

A couple of Saturdays ago, my mom and the kids and I went out to Canton to visit/celebrate my niece and nephew's birthdays/watch my niece, Scarlett, play in her basketball game. (Brian would have gone too, but he was working!)

Nate played in the backyard with all the animals for a while before we left for the game.  The weather was beautiful!!

My sister got them these cute Valentine's balloons, which they love, and which are STILL floating around the house, by the way!!

Here are some pictures of the basketball game. Scarlett is #20, if you can see.
There she is!!  Way to hustle!
Nate sat with me in the bleachers.  I thought they both did pretty well sitting and watching the game.
  Lilly sitting with Grandma..

Then back to the house..

Scarlett got this doll and this complete nursery set with stroller, bouncy seat, crib, etc. for her birthday.  Of course Lilly was mesmerized by it!  She loves her babies!  This one was SO COOL.  Her mouth moves when she is drinking the bottle and she blinks while looking up at you!  She also cries, which is not so cool, but very REAL!

Luckily Scarlett is so sweet and let Lilly have fun with all of her new stuff while we were there!  Thank you, Scarlett!
Holding the pacifier in baby's mouth to make her stop crying.
Nate got in on a little of the action at the very end before we left..

We had a great day out in the country!! :)  Love you all and see you soon!!

Valentine's Day

A little late, but I hope everyone had a good Valentine's Day!!  These are the only cruddy pictures I managed to get of the kids that day.  I dressed Lilly in all hearts, but I didn't have anything for Nate (oops).  I put cute little hearts around the pictures to make it a little more festive. :)

Just for a few minutes..

We had some peace tonight where the kids were actually playing together.  I took the opportunity to try out my new lens, so here you are!!

Building "castles" together..
Uh-oh!  The castle fell over on Lilly!
 Picking one just for Lilly!

 Nate's sweet little chubby hand..

This post will be a little out of order because I have pictures on another computer from last weekend that I wanted to post of us playing at the park.  Those are coming SOON!

Reading the Classics..

Last Saturday was the first day since the storms began that the temperatures were above freezing, so we headed over to Grandma's. We ended up back in a guest bedroom where the kids started looking through all of our old books that my mom has kept over the years. I think a few of them may even be from when she was little. The kids are so much more vocal now, when they are reading. They want to point everything out and make sure you hear them (because if you do not acknowledge, they will repeat themselves 50 million times)! It was neat to see them enjoying some of the books that used to my favorites..

Sorry these pictures aren't very good, I was playing around with my camera settings and obviously didn't have the right light to be on whatever setting I was on!  Maybe I can touch them up later..

Anyway- they were too cute not to share!

Nate's fingers are double jointed like mine (I know.. eeew).  See how they are bending backwards?  lol
