CHRISTMAS 2015

We did really good by Santa this year, cookie-wise.  We made him a TON of yummy sugar cookies and decorated them with yummy frosting and sprinkles.  I think we left him a banana too, just in case he needed something nutritious to refuel.

And we may have eaten a few of the cookies..
Too hot to wear our Christmas jammies.  But here we go, to put some reindeer food out on the driveway!  Have to lead them to our house, you know.

Santa came!

My favorite, Christmas morning..

Ordered Mom a blanket with pictures on it from her European trip.  It turned out really neat.

The best gifts are the ones the kids get me from the holiday store at school.. <3 p="">
Merry Christmas, everybody!

'Tis the Season!

Always so many fun things going on this time of year.  Here are some that helped get us in the Christmas spirit!

Pictures in front of our new tree, in our new Christmas jammies!!

The flash was too bright for Ben!

This year we went out to downtown Grapevine on my birthday.  My mom went too, and I took my tripod thinking I could try and get some good family pictures because it's always decorated so cute for Christmas.  I didn't love any of the family ones we got, but one was good enough for a Christmas card and we got a lot of cute ones of the kids, which is what matters!

My favorite <3 br="">
Earlier the same day, we went to a neighborhood "breakfast with Santa" event.  Ben has some serious issues with Santa, as you can see.  haha
At least Nate and Lilly got to tell him what was on their lists!!
Fun with balloons..

We made four Christmas plates (Nate, Lilly, and I made our own, and Brian made one for Ben).  I hung them up and I think I will love hanging them up every year.  Good memories :)

Christmas plates with Santa

At the house, before we left for breakfast with Santa.  Looking so grown up.

More pics in Grapevine..

Grandma!!

A little birthday date night after a long day!!

Our pretty girl before her Christmas singing recital (more on that in a separate post)!

Tradition - making gingerbread house!

 Holiday parties at school!

The big kids went with mom and grandma to see "Nutcracker" for the first time.  I don't know if they loved it, but they did good and we were all glad we went!

Ben saw his first movie during the kids' Christmas vacation from school.  ALVIN AND THE CHIPMUNKS: The Road Chip (of course).  He did great!  We went with a classmate and her mom.  They kids all loved it!

ICE at the Gaylord.  We had a blast!  This was the first year for Ben.  The theme was "Christmas around the world"

The inside of the beautiful Gaylord Hotel at Christmas time.  Mom was down with seeing the hotel décor, but she didn't want to go in the freezing cold ICE exhibit!!
