First Day of School..

..was a SUCCESS!

Even though they could have gone on to Kindergarten this year, we decided we'd do one more year of Pre-K before we enter into the real world.  Boy, am I glad we did that! They just seem so little still, and I think it's going to be so good for them.

 I took these at "meet the teacher" night the week before school started.  They both liked their teachers and were very excited for the first day.  I love this age, when they are still liking school!

So we are half way through the second week now and everything seems to be going fairly smoothly.  We didn't have any tears the first day because they are in separate classes.  They didn't seem to mind at all!  I think it's gong to be great that they have their own projects to work on and their own  friends to play with.   They could definitely use the break from each other!

This was the second night when Brian was about to take the kids back home and Lilly was sad that I was going to be away one more night.  So we sung "You are my Sunshine" like we do every night when I tuck her in.  My sweet girl!
